I’ve been spending a lot of the time I have free to waste, and much of the time I really don’t have free, spent listening to The Tolkien Professor’s various lectures on Tolkien’s works whilst playing ‘LEGO Lord of the Rings’ and ‘Lord of the Rings Online’.

Illustrated parchment scroll maps and letters I made and designed as props for a gothic noir short film piece I directed recently.
In terms of the story behind these props, the first piece is a portrait of the person the scroll is being delivered to, the other part being the actual content and directions for the postman as to where to deliver the parchment.
JRR Tolkien’s handwriting was very much an influence.
